The Polish band\u00a0MAUSER<\/strong>\u00a0earlier this year released debut record which is an explosive mix of black, death, and thrash metal.
EP “Casualties of War”<\/em><\/strong>\u00a0is inspired by 2nd<\/sup>\u00a0World War.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This record is a must to hear for fans of bands such as\u00a0The Crown<\/strong>,\u00a0Witchery<\/strong>,\u00a0Slayer<\/strong>,\u00a0Sodom<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

MAUSER<\/strong> is a relatively new act for extreme music maniacs. The band was formed in Krak\u00f3w, the capital of the Ma\u0142opolska region, by Krzysztof Leja<\/strong>; however, for the recording of the debut material he invited guest and session musicians.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

MAUSER<\/strong> is an uncompromising fusion of extreme metal – aggression, speed, and technical precision with maturity of sound and composition. Music that captures the rawness, anger, and smell of gunpowder, but without artificial glamour. A solid sound, authenticity, and the genocidal atmosphere of war make Mauser stand out where others only pretend to be true power. No posturing – just honest, hard work.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

All songs were written by the band\u2019s leader, Krzysztof Leja<\/strong>, who also recorded the bass and guitar parts, including the solos. The vocal parts were performed by Tymon Wiekiera<\/strong>, who is also responsible for the lyrical concept of the release. The drum tracks were recorded by Krzysztof Klingbein<\/strong> (Totenmesse<\/strong>, Belphegor<\/strong>\u2013live, ex-Vader<\/strong>). Piano parts on the track \u201cPrelude of Fear<\/em>\u201d were performed by Tomasz Kowalczyk<\/strong>. The EP was mixed and mastered by Witold Nowak<\/strong> at Bourbon Ranch Studio<\/strong>, who has previously worked with bands such as Hellhaim<\/strong>, Kira<\/strong>, and Subterfuge<\/strong>. The artwork was created by DK13 Design<\/strong>, known for its cooperation with the Finnish band Horna<\/strong>. The band photo session was carried out by Mariusz Kucik<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Debut EP “Casualties of War<\/em><\/strong>” was released on January 31st, 2026<\/strong> in digital format (link here<\/a>) & on CD by Hagalaz Label<\/strong><\/a> (buy here<\/a>).<\/p>\n\n\n\n
