Canadian mock\u2011rock legends Sons of Butcher <\/strong>are back with another slab of greasy, over\u2011the\u2011top rock mayhem, this time with the release of their brand\u2011new music video \u201cPeppercorn Steak,\u201d<\/strong> perfectly timed to marinate ahead of National Steak Day on April 25th.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The single marks the first post\u2011release video from the band\u2019s new EP “Skids,”<\/strong> which officially arrived March 27th, 2026 and has already delivered two fan\u2011favourite videos: the denim\u2011soaked anthem \u201cDenim Dreamin\u2019\u201d<\/strong> and the bacon\u2011blasted metal romp \u201cMakin\u2019 Bacon.\u201d<\/strong>\u200b

\u200b\u201cPeppercorn Steak\u201d<\/strong> brings the band full circle, back to their roots in the animated Teletoon series<\/a> that first launched Sons of Butcher <\/strong>into Canadian cult status. Originally featured in a never\u2011aired, independently created pilot for a potential third season, the track has now been fully re\u2011cut, re\u2011seasoned, and served sizzling with soaring vocals, chunky riffs, and the kind of lyrical repetition only Sons of Butcher<\/strong> could make iconic.

\u200b\u201cThis EP marks the first time we\u2019ve written songs not directly tied to the cartoon storyline, except for \u2018Peppercorn Steak’. Instead, this EP is an honest batch of comedy songs from the grease\u2011clogged hearts of a band of has\u2011been butchers,\u201d<\/em> says frontman Ricky Butcher. \u201c<\/p>\n\n\n\n
