One day ahead of release, Polish band\u00a0\u0179RENICE<\/strong>\u00a0(eng. Pupils) published pre-listening of\u00a0debut album “\u015anienie<\/em><\/strong>“<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Their music is a specially must hear for fans of\u00a0Esben and the Witch<\/strong>,\u00a0Emma Ruth Rundle<\/strong>,\u00a0Messa<\/strong>,\u00a0To\u0144<\/strong>\u00a0(PL).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The concept behind \u0179RENICE<\/strong> band emerged in June 2022, right after the final concert of the previous band formed by four of the group\u2019s current musicians. Choosing to close that chapter and start anew, the band spent the following months shaping the instrumental foundations of what would become their debut album “\u015anienie<\/em><\/strong>“, all while searching for the right voice to complete their sound. In 2024, singer Kamila<\/strong> joined the band, whose presence propelled the creative process forward.<\/p>\n\n\n\n


On “\u015anienie<\/strong>“, \u0179renice<\/strong> forge a distinctive sonic identity, weaving together elements of alternative rock and metal, post-rock, black and sludge metal, and touches of folk-inspired mysticism and dreamlike storytelling.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Music for “\u015anienie<\/em><\/strong>” debut album was recorded by Krzysztof Godycki<\/strong> at Studio Roslyn<\/strong> (Mord’A’Stigmata<\/strong>). All was mixed and mastered by Haldor Grunberg<\/strong> at Satanic Audio<\/strong> (Behemoth<\/strong>, Dom Z\u0142y<\/strong>, Entropia<\/strong>, Terrestrial Hospice<\/strong>, Hostia<\/strong>). Album cover artwork was done by Emilia Mr\u00f3z<\/strong>. Debut album will be released on March 18, 2026<\/strong> in digital format (pre-save<\/a>) and as CD by Via Nocturna<\/strong> (pre-order<\/a>).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Today, the band \u0179renice<\/strong> released a pre-listening of their debut album “\u015anienie<\/em><\/strong>“.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The band comments their debut album: “The binding element of ‘Dreaming’ is the forest topos, which appears here and there, but it doesn’t constitute any specific concept. In the intro and outro of the album, footsteps can be heard, which are supposed to allow the listener to mentally transport themselves to an isolated place, and therefore suitable for listening, but ultimately it depends solely on the listener whether it will be a forest per se. After all, it’s just ordinary dreaming, from which one will have to wake up sooner or later. The lyrics partially refer to motifs taken from fairy tales, although their main subject remains the human being himself, and also directly the relationships between people<\/em>“.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
