This band will be bringing their raw, creole\u2011infused thrash to some of the region\u2019s most respected stages (dates listed below).<br>\u200b<br>The tour supports their latest album&nbsp;<strong>&#8220;Sabouk Rouge,&#8221;<\/strong>&nbsp;released this past February 2026 via&nbsp;<strong>Rockshots Records.<\/strong>&nbsp;Produced by the band, recorded and mixed by S\u00e9bastien Camhi at Art Music Studio in France, and mastered by Kai Stahlenberg at Kohlekeller Studio in Germany,<strong>&nbsp;&#8220;Sabouk Rouge&#8221;<\/strong>&nbsp;expands&nbsp;<strong>LOMOR<\/strong>\u2019s sonic palette while staying true to their primal thrash roots. With more Creole lyrics woven in at fans\u2019 request, the album strengthens its cultural identity as it shifts through a wide range of moods.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>\u201cThe tracks are all different, each bringing its own atmosphere. It\u2019s still trash, but with a variety of flavors,\u201d<\/em>&nbsp;says Eric.<br>\u200b<br>That diversity fuels a record that moves from the title track\u2019s sharp satire of R\u00e9union\u2019s slavery legacy to the grotesque obsession of \u201cMeet Your Meat,\u201d the ritualistic mysticism of \u201cSanctuary,\u201d and the blistering critique of religion in \u201cLa Haine.\u201d The tone lightens with the street\u2011racing humor of \u201cLa Pouss\u2019,\u201d then darkens again with \u201cPanzram,\u201d exploring the roots of a killer\u2019s hatred. The album revisits Eric\u2019s past with a reimagined \u201cKit Ta M\u00e8re\u201d before closing on \u201cNevroz,\u201d a reversed, tongue\u2011in\u2011cheek remake born from a studio joke.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>LOMOR<\/strong>&nbsp;has carved its identity as one of the most distinctive metal acts emerging from the Indian Ocean. Their sound, described by guitarist\/vocalist Eric Castelnau (Babouk) as \u201ccreole thrash old\u2011school stuff\u201d, fuses classic 80s thrash aggression with the cultural grit and linguistic identity of R\u00e9union Island.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>LOMOR<\/strong>&nbsp;began as a deeply personal project for Eric, who formed the band in 2018 after the passing of his cousin and brother, both former bandmates in his earlier project Black Babouk.
